The National Testing Agency (NTA) has decided to launch a new technological service for students preparing for the engineering entrance examination, JEE Main 2027. According to a recent report, the agency will launch an Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based helpline, which will act as a special platform to resolve the queries and problems of the examinees.
Every year, lakhs of students appear for the JEE Main exam and they frequently have to contact the helpline for various information such as the application process, eligibility criteria, or exam center-related issues. This AI helpline is conceptualized with the aim of reducing the additional pressure on traditional helplines and providing 24/7 service to students.
It is expected that the formal announcement regarding how this AI system will function will be made by the NTA soon. As a result of using this modern technology, examinees will be able to get accurate answers to their questions at any time. Amid ongoing discussions regarding transparency and procedural reforms in examinations, this step is being considered a positive change.
Examinees are advised to stay updated with the official website of the NTA so that they can avail of the services as soon as the helpline is launched. This system is expected to provide much relief, especially to students from remote areas who often face difficulties due to a lack of information.
