Adding a new dimension to Assam's education sector, a 'Wild Classroom' has been opened at Nameri National Park. The main objective of this innovative initiative is to bring students into direct contact with nature instead of confining them to textbooks. It will demonstrate how the biodiversity of the national park can be used as a living curriculum to impart education.

Through this Wild Classroom, students will have the opportunity to study tiger trails directly. This initiative, taken jointly by the Forest Department and the Education Department, is expected to increase the interest of the younger generation in environmental education. The core focus of this project is how to instill the importance of wildlife conservation and maintaining ecological balance in the minds of children.

Experts believe that such projects are very important to bridge the gap between classrooms and the outside world. In a rich forest like Nameri, such educational programs will build a bridge between tourism and education. Students will not only gain theoretical knowledge but will also be able to understand the complex situations of nature and wildlife behavior.

There is a possibility of expanding such projects to other national parks in the state in the coming days. This will create strong public opinion among the younger generation of Assam for wildlife conservation and increase environmental awareness. It is also known that there are plans to create a specific framework for educational tours in the next phase of this project.
