Security forces have achieved significant success in an operation against individuals living illegally by taking the law into their own hands in Assam. According to recent reports, a total of 9 Bangladeshi nationals have been successfully arrested after conducting operations in various locations across the state. During this operation, several fake Indian identity cards were also seized from the arrested individuals, which has clarified details of their illegal entry and identity forgery.
As per initial investigations coming to light, these individuals had been taking shelter in various parts of the country for a long time without any valid documents. Security forces are continuing their interrogation regarding what kind of forgery they resorted to for creating Indian identity cards and whether any other locals are involved with this syndicate.
